The Hansford Review has announced that it will bring together key stakeholders and organisations that have submitted evidence to its review at a seminar in mid-March.
The decision to hold a breakfast seminar was made following the first meeting of the Hansford Review panel which took place on Wednesday 8th February.
The Hansford Review has been tasked with examining contestability in the UK rail market, as well as exploring options for third party investment and infrastructure delivery on the national rail network.
The Hansford Review is due to report its findings to the Network Rail Board in Spring of 2017.
Professor Peter Hansford said:
“As part of my review I am keen to create a discussion amongst stakeholders and consultees on the complexity of stimulating external investment in Britain’s railways; as well as understanding what can be done to simplify the landscape for third party investment.
“There has been great interest in my review and I am particularly pleased that the International Project Finance Association have agreed to work with my team to help deliver this breakfast seminar.”
The breakfast seminar, which is being held in conjunction with the IPFA, will be held on the 15th March at the ICE.
Attendees will be drawn from those who have made submissions to the Hansford Review as well as other key stakeholders.
Applications to join the seminar can also be made by registering here.
