The independent Hansford Review into contestability and third party infrastructure investment on the national railway has extended its deadline for initial submission to the 14th of February 2017.

Those interested in making a submission can email to register interest, or visit the newly launched Hansford Review website:

Professor Peter Hansford, chair of the Hansford Review said:

“I am delighted by the level of response that we have received thus far from the industry and other interested parties to our call for evidence.

“To allow more time for preparation of initial submissions we have extended our deadline to the 14th February 2017.”

All submissions will be treated as private correspondence between the contributor and Prof Hansford’s Review Team. Any submissions included in the Hansford Review final report, will be anonymised and unattributed.

To ensure the independence of the Hansford Review secretariat services are being provided by the Nichols Group and communications support by Rail PR.
